Upgrading Disks in MD3000i SAN

We have an existing MD3000i with 2 MD1000 chassis attached. The MD3000i has 15x 750 SAS drives (configured as a RAID 5 disk group) and the MD1000s have a total of 30 x1TB SATA drives (configured as a RAID 6 disk group).
Our Dell rep tells us that 2TB drives are now supported and we would like to upgrade the existing SAN to increase overall raw capacity to 95TB. What is unclear is how one accomplishes this without loosing existing data on the SAN.
Can someone tell me how to upgrade the existing array capacity?
Do you find this valuable?

Without somewhere to dump it to that's a great question. One drive at a time? If you start with the hot spares it should only take a couple months. :/ Do you find this valuable?
