Mar 11 2008, 7:26 PM EDT Kinda depends. Are you using shared storage? If so, VCB allows 3rd party tools to "hook" into the VMware file system. Which inturn allows you to backup at the array level instead of via agents on the host servers. Makes sense? PS - "3rd party tools" = Symantec, CommVault, etc... as well as a few nich players like VizionCore and Platespin :-) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
