Performance Monitoring of MD3000i from Linux
I put up a new page that focuses on how you can use the CLI to monitor the performance of the MD3000i. It is located here - http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/MD3000i+Performance+Monitoring
Check it out and give your feedback!

MD3000i Performance
I posted a quick how to video on this wiki page - MD3000i Performance Monitoring - http://www.delltechcenter.com/page/MD3000i+Performance+Monitoring
It shows how to use Excel 2007 to create a graph of the performance data that is output by the MD3000i when using the smCLI as talked about in this thread.

MD3000i: per-client stats?
Hello,
How did you create the Virtual Disks on the MD? I think you may have only created one set of virtual disk’s. That would be the only reason why you would only be going through one controller. When you create virtual disk lun’s, you specify which controller to utilize. So my guess is that you are only using one controller because you never assigned a different virtual disk lun to the second controller.
Also, if you would like to run some performance test on the MD, you can go to the following link and it will show you how to run that.
