During a recent chat several people wanted to see more PowerVault MD3000i information, including demo videos. I worked with one of our storage architects in our executive briefing center to get his PowerVault MD3000i configuration demo recorded. Ward was able to put together a quick 15-minute video that shows the installation of the management software for the PowerVault MD3000i—known as Modular Disk Storage Manager (MDSM)—as well as the initial configuration of the storage array and an iSCSI host.

Overall, it is a quick way to get a real understanding of exactly how the management tool for the PowerVault MD3000i works and what it takes to get it up and running from the very beginning. The video is loaded on our new Storage Demos page, where I hope to add lots of new videos in the near future. Let me know what other things you would like to see.
