I work for a large private company based in Philadelphia, PA.

I have been using Dell Servers since about '97 when we got our first PowerEdge 4200. Since then we have gone through a bunch of server buys including 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th and recently a few 10th gen servers... I'm sure some 11th gen servers will be in here early 2009 (I'm looking forward to the R710).

I have been working on getting VMWare ESX 3.5 running on a R900 connected to an iSCSI MD3000i with a MD1000 connected to that. We have expanded our VM hosts. Now have (3) R900's and a 4th is in the works... Playing with VMotion and snapshots. Also looking at the best ways to do backups using VCB or other third party apps.

We are going to be using ESXi on a Dell PE2950 at 2 different remote sites for hosting a few vm's on each host to provide file access and a seperate VM for an AD Domain Controller. At the other site they will have (2) 2950's running ESXi Foundation and using them to update their Citrix environment to 4.5 as well as going to 64 bit OS for those servers.

Other recent projects have included figuring out how to Ghost a Citrix 4.5 server for use on other PE 1850's and creating Ghost images for the Windows 2003 x64 server on different platforms.

I have worked with Slipstreaming, Imaging, Clustering, Fiber Channel, Server Hardware/Software Updates, & Troubleshooting various combinations of the above.
